You've noticed that when your child tries to say sounds or words, the sounds don't come out just right, or consistently.

Your child might be able to say the "m" sound in "momma" but not in "mine".

There are many reasons why children can have difficulties with speech sounds. The nature of the difficulty affects how you treat the difficulties.
