FAQs:

What about payment?

Payment arranged in advance - after group is formed and after dates and locations are set. E-transfer, cash, credit card via Paypal or stripe are all available.

How many sessions?

This is flexible, and is agreed upon when groups are formed. Typically there are 5-10 sessions arranged.

What day / times are available?

This is also flexible, with what works best with group members. Weekday evenings, and Saturday mornings are what is generally offered.

What if my child uses AAC?

A speech-pathologist is running the sessions and will support any form of AAC with all group members to keep things inclusive.

What if my child has aggression toward others?

Safety of others is a high priority, but these children are just as important to include in group and regulating fun. This is the information that is important to communicate before the group forms. We will keep the group size small, and work together throughout the sessions to reduce (if not eliminate) these behaviours. The speech-pathologist running the groups has over 10 years experience working on regulating children, promoting their communication, and reducing / eliminating harmful behaviours. The speech-pathologist is also a trained in CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)  to navigate and reduce behaviour risk.
