Cancellation Policy

Assessments are billed at a rate of $150/hour. o This fee encompasses the in-person assessment looking at speech, language (understanding & expressing), literacy, hearing / differentiating of sounds, and more (feeding if appropriate). After the session, the SLP is required to complete extensive documentation, analysis and interpretation of the data collected, to determine to nature and severity of any difficulties o This may take 1-3 visits to get all required information, but only the initial session is charged at the assessment rate. Typically 1 session is adequate, but it depends on the age and nature of difficulties. o Includes verbal summary of assessment findings, recommendations, goals & next steps / plans for therapy. o Does not include a written report Written Reports: Assessment Summary: $100 o Ideal for personal records o 1-2 page document summarizing assessment findings, recommendations, goals & next steps Detailed Assessment Report: $300 o Ideal when wanting to share with schools and other professional community partners o This option is typically recommended for school-aged students who will benefit from a detailed language, literacy, and speech assessment report o Multiple paged document outlining all data and findings, and including recommended goals and extensive environment / practice suggestions Payment is due at time of confirmation and will be requested via Paypal or Stripe. E-transfer also accepted. Your appointment time will only be held once payment is received. You will be provided with a receipt of payment. After the assessment timing has been confirmed, and payment has been received, the following reimbursement schedule applies for cancellations: More than 48 hours notice: 100% reimbursement Between 24 hours and 48 hours notice: 50% reimbursement Less than 24 hours notice: 25% reimbursement No notice: 0% reimbursement
